Note
The Note tool allows you to leave comments and notations to your future self right in Edit mode. When you return to a project days, months or even years later you can pick up where we left off without skipping a beat.
Examples
The Note tool is focused solely on improving your workflow and organization in Edit Mode. It does not create any output on the published page, thus we don't have anything we can show you here as an example.
Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect.
Note taking is very important when designing a site. Whether it is short term notes or comments for far down the road. This tool can help us make plans or leave ourselves or others guidance when working with a specific page or site.
Settings
The Note tool is Markdown enabled, allowing for a wide array of formatting. You can include headers, lists, and more using Markdown within your Notes.
General
Note Title
Allows you to add a custom label to the top title bar of the tool. This lets you quickly identify what purpose you're using that tool for in your layout. This title is also visible when you've collapsed or hidden the contents of the tool in Edit Mode.
Styling
Note Style
By default the Note tool uses a bright yellow, Post-It Note styling to help it stand out.
If you'd like a different look, or just want to color code your notes, you can use the custom option to adjust the following styles using color pickers: Background Gradient (Bkg One & Bkg Two), Border and Text.
